Round table “European experience of gastronomic tourism development on the example of rural areas of Odesa region”

On June 6, 2019, a meeting of the expert round table  “European experience in the development of gastronomic tourism on the example of rural areas of Odesa region” will be held .

Venue:  NK “Expocenter of Ukraine” Ukraine, Kyiv, 1 Akademika Glushkova avenue, 10.00-12.00.

Organizers:  Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, EU Project “Supporting the Development of the System of Geographical Indications in Ukraine”, Association for Promotion of Rural Green Tourism Development in Ukraine.

Participants:  farms, owners of rural estates, scientists, representatives of MTD Projects and public associations.

The following issues will be considered at the round table meeting:

● Diversification as a direction of socio-economic development of rural areas

● European experience in the development of the Roads of Wine and Taste

● Principles of interaction between the public, business, authorities and MTD projects on the example of the pilot project of the Roads of Wine and Taste “Danubian Bessarabia”

● Marketing tools for the promotion of food and wine tourism.

● Rural tourism as an effective factor in rural development

● Roadmap for the development of tourism in OTG

● Legal foundations of rural hospitality development, etc.
