The first in Ukraine “Wax Festival” took place in Kyiv region

The first Ukrainian Wax Festival was held at the hospitable estate of Oleksiy Pashchenko in the village of Bilohorodka, Kyiv-Svyatoshynskyi district, Kyiv region.

The guests of the event were invited to:

● opening of a unique ethnographic wax hut;

● demonstration of wax health and diagnostic procedures;

● cleansing of hepatogenic zones with wax candles;

● pouring on wax;

● setting the wax spool;

● cleaning with wax funnels;

● wax and propolis heating;

● a master class on making wax candles and rolling pins;

● opening of the beehive season;

● presentation of a unique apes-harmonizer.

Visitors to the festival were able to enjoy musical accompaniment – performances of Ukrainian folk songs accompanied by accordion, playing drymba, cymbals, trembita.

There was also a tasting of herbal teas made from honey flowers, drinking honey, drinking health waters of Ukrainochka TM, an exhibition and sale of furniture made of wicker (Zakarpattia), and artworks by Ukrainian artists. The event was attended by leading Ukrainian experts in beekeeping and apitherapy, as well as traditional healers.
