April 17-18, 2018 webinar: “Development of rural green tourism”

For the implementation of the Action Plan for the Implementation of the Concept of Popularization of Ukraine in the World and Promotion of Ukraine’s Interests in the Global Information Space, approved by Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 383 dated June 7, 2017, Order of the Head of the Regional Council No. 254 of December 29, 2017 “On Improving the Qualifications of Officials of Bodies of local self-government and deputies of local councils on the basis of the Poltava Regional Center for retraining and advanced training of employees of state authorities, local self-government bodies, state-owned enterprises, institutions and organizations in 2018”  from  April  2018,  the Poltava Regional Center for Advanced Training under the program of a specialized short-term training course begins  “Promotion and promotion of Ukraine’s interests in the global information space” .

The course program is designed  for officials of executive offices of district councils and executive committees of united territorial communities, whose powers include the representation of Ukraine’s interests in the international arena and the development of tourism in Ukraine.

From April 17 to 18, 2018,  on the basis of the Poltava Regional Center for Retraining and Advanced Training of Employees of State Authorities, Local Self-Governments, State Enterprises, Institutions and Organizations (Poltava, 49 Evropeyska St.), training will be held as part of the above-mentioned course for officials members of executive apparatuses of district councils and executive committees of united territorial communities,  whose powers include issues of tourism development  on the topic: ” Development of rural green tourism”.

The curriculum provides for consideration of topics, in particular:

– Basics of knowledge in the field of green tourism. The essence and significance of rural green tourism in Ukraine  ( Volodymyr Pavlovich Vasiliev, head of the Association for the Promotion of Rural Green Tourism in Ukraine)  through the website webinar.ua . (April 17, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.)

–  Development of rural green tourism as an integral component of complex social and economic development of territories ( Valentyna Volodymyrivna Vozhdaenko, Director of the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Poltava Regional State Administration)

– Strategic directions for the development of rural green tourism in Poltava Oblast  (Iryna Anatoliivna Dudka, head of the public organization “Institute for the Development of Territorial Communities of Poltava Oblast”, regional coordinator of the “PROMIS” project).

– Legal regulation of rural green tourism. Requirements for rural green tourism activities. Services that can be provided to tourists in green tourism estates  (Natalia Kovinska, owner of the green estate “The Ways of Khan Kubrat” in the village of Pysarivka, Poltava district).

– Ethnostrategy of rural green tourism in Poltava Region. The basics of the organization of a guest house  (Olena Shcherban, owner of the green manor “Lyalyna Svetlytsia”, candidate of historical sciences, ethnographer).

– Creation of service cooperatives, clusters of green tourism ( Andrii Oleksiiovych Panteleymonenko, director of the Poltava Regional Center for Research and Promotion of Cooperation Development, professor of the Department of Economic Theory and Applied Economics of the Polytechnic University “Poltava University of Economics and Trade”, Doctor of Economics).

–  Formation of a positive tourist image of the country. Use of tourist resources of Poltava region for the organization of rural green tourism  (Vitaly Pavlov, head of the tourism and cultural heritage department of the city executive committee’s culture department  ).

We also inform you that in the future, on the basis of the Poltava Regional Center for retraining and advanced training of employees of state authorities, local self-government bodies, state enterprises, institutions and organizations,  a School of Green Tourism will be established  for potential owners of green tourism estates.
