The seventh international gastronomic ethno-festival-quest “Borshch in a clay pot 2020”

On 15 August 2020, the Borshch in a Clay Pot gastronomic ethno-quest festival will take place for the seventh time in Poltava region.

During the unique ethno-festival-quest, chefs from different regions of Ukraine will cook more than 70 varieties of borsch.

The aim of the festival is to study, revive and promote Ukrainian folk cultural traditions, restore forgotten local cultural and gastronomic heritage of Poltava region; create a national ethno-gastronomic and ethno-cultural database; regenerate lost ties between generations, in particular in the field of traditional and household culture; study and promote traditions, technology, cooking rules, recipes, regional peculiarities of borsch making and dough making.
