A strategic session was held to create a tourist cluster “Hospitable Boykivska Dolyna”

On March 22, the next stage in the development of the cluster initiative of the district was held at the Vyhoda Narrow Gauge Railway Heritage Center (Vyhoda, Dolyna district, Ivano-Frankivsk region) – a strategic session on the creation of the Hospitable Boyko Valley Tourism Cluster. The event was organized by Oksana Kleban, head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Branch of the Union for the Promotion of Rural Green Tourism in Ukraine, owner of the Darvayiv Kut private farm (Staryi Mizun village).

The event was attended by Viktor Gromysh, First Deputy Head of Dolyna District State Administration; Vitaliy Perederko, Head of the Tourism Department of the Department of International Cooperation, European Integration, Tourism and Investment of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration; Yuriy Zinko, Head of the Lviv Regional Center for Promotion of Rural Green Tourism, Board Member of the Union for Promotion of Rural Green Tourism in Ukraine, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Tourism of the Geography Faculty of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv; and Oksana Kleban, owner of a private farm in Staryi Zun’ village.

During the meeting, the present members of the Union, speakers and government officials exchanged ideas and clearly outlined further actions. There is still a lot of work to be done, so only joint efforts from business representatives, activists and authorities will lead to the development of tourism in Dolyna region.
