For five years, the Department of Agrarian Consulting and Tourism of NUBiP, together with the NGO “Association for the Development of Rural Green Tourism in Ukraine” has been conducting field training courses on rural green tourism. The courses are designed for representatives of local authorities and self-governments, public organizations, owners of personal peasant and farm households that provide rural green tourism services.
The course program covers a wide range of issues that are relevant when conducting activities in the field of rural green tourism. Course participants have the opportunity to gain thorough knowledge of the history and specifics of the development of rural green tourism in the world and in Ukraine, the legal framework and state policy in this area, which is important for the development of rural areas, marketing and management, the quality of service provision, categorization and certification of agro-villages, etc. .
Field seminars have already been held in Lviv (Truskavets, Stryi), Ivano-Frankivsk (Kosiv, Vorokhta), Vinnytsia (Vinnytsia, Lypovets, Gaiove), Kirovohrad (Kropyvnytskyi) , Cherkasy and other regions of Ukraine.
The acquired knowledge helps the trainees become qualified specialists in the field of rural green tourism, contribute to the growth of the wealth of both individual families and the rural community as a whole, encourage the development of infrastructure, and activate the activities of rural communities in the revival and preservation of cultural heritage.
