We invite you to the conference

Registration for participation in the conference “Modern challenges for rural green tourism of Ukraine: legal, educational, organizational and market aspects” is open.

The conference will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2018. Start at 13.00.

Venue: Kyiv, Ukrainian National Agency “UKRINFORM”, str. B. Khmelnytskoho, 8/16, “Teatralna” metro station.

The following questions are proposed for discussion: 

• discrimination against peasants engaged in small-scale production of food products and provision of rural green tourism services;
• the problem of legislative definition of the activities of farmers and their family members in the provision of rural hospitality services in the field of rural green tourism (draft laws No. 2232a and No. 7400 on amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine in the field of tourism); 
• formation of systematic and acceptable standards of rural green tourism (rural hospitality) for both hosts and vacationers;
• cluster as a model of unification of scattered farms of rural green tourism;
• informational and legal protection of owners of personal peasant and farm holdings that provide rural green tourism services – members of the Union of the Northwest Territories of Ukraine;
• modernization of educational programs for the training of workers and specialists for this field.

A brochure “Rural green tourism – from disconnected homesteads to territorial clusters” is being prepared for the conference. 

Members of the Union will receive membership certificates of the Union of the Northwest Territories of Ukraine, the logo “Under the protection of the Union of Northwest Territories of Ukraine”, certificates and signs of the UGS. 

The event is held by the NGO “Union of Northwest Ukraine” with the support of:

• the UNDP project in Ukraine “Strengthening business associations of small and medium-sized enterprises”, which is implemented with the financial support of the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO);
• of the “Agrarian and Rural Development Support Program” (“Agrosilrozvitok”) project, financed by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
