Meeting of TDATU students with the head of the Union’s branch in Zaporizhzhia region

As part of the cooperation of the Tavri State Agrotechnical University named after Dmytro Motorny and the public organization “Association for the Development of Rural Green Tourism” in the Zaporizhzhia region hosted a meeting of students majoring in Tourism with the head of the separate unit Bernaga Nataliya Yuriivna.

Today, rural green tourism is one of the promising areas of tourism, its development has a positive impact on the revival of the countryside and its folk customs and traditions. Nataliya Yuriivna talked about the development of rural green tourism in the region, presented the practical experience of functioning estates in the Zaporizhzhia region, shared her personal impressions of staying in green estates.

The head of the separate division of the Union in the region also has foreign experience of visiting and evaluating the work of rural green estates around the world. She spoke about the practical experience of such countries as Israel, Belarus, Poland, and the USA.

Of great importance in the functioning of rural green tourism are folk crafts, production of souvenir products, folk amulets and national attributes. The students were visually presented with the products of the Melitopol region’s folk craftsmen – these are dolls, talisman dolls, and talisman angels. The students were very interested in the technology of making dolls, and there was a desire to organize a master class on folk crafts. The manufactured products will be used for charity events in children’s educational institutions.

The meeting was filled with interesting information, real practical recommendations for the development of rural green tourism and a sincere friendly atmosphere.
