Lana Vetrova
She is a professional journalist, author and host of live broadcasts on the National Radio Company of Ukraine, head of the National Register of Records of Ukraine and editor-in-chief of the Book of Records. She has been cooperating with the NGO “Union of Rural Green Tourism of Ukraine” since its establishment in 1996. For almost 10 years, she was the author and host of the tourist program “Milky Way”, which contributed to the development of rural green tourism and the Union of RGT of Ukraine as its press secretary.
Tetiana Kalna-Dubiuk
Doctor of Economics, Professor at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine. For almost 20 years, she has been the head of the Department of Agricultural Consulting and Tourism at the university. During this time, the department successfully cooperated with the Union of Agritourism of Ukraine, held seminars, trainings, conferences, certification of advisers and experts in rural green tourism, opened and licensed a new curriculum “Tourism”, introduced new courses in rural green tourism, and developed educational and methodological literature. She is a member of the World Network of Agritourism Professionals.
Iryna Okolovych
Doctor of Philosophy in Tourism, expert on sustainable tourism development in communities. In 2019-2022, she was a member of the Board and Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Union of NWT of Ukraine. Participant of internship programs at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the School of Natural Sciences and Health of the University of Tallinn (Estonia), international projects and programs. She is a student of the Diploma in Climate Friendly Tourism at the Institute of Tourism Sciences (Malta), co-leader of the Ukrainian branch of SUNx Malta Climate Friendly Travel Chapter for Ukraine.
I coordinate and implement projects on tourism development, sustainable tourism development, rural tourism development, rural and community development.
Oleksandr Palariiev
Member of the Board of the Union of NWTs of Ukraine, Chairman of the FRUMUSHYKA-NOVA Agro-Ecological and Recreational Cluster, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Ukrainian Bessarabia Wine and Taste Road, Doctor of Philosophy, founder of the FRUMUSHYKA-NOVA ethnographic museum and rural green tourism complex based on a sheep and wine farm in the bare steppe, Odesa region. He built the world’s tallest statue of a shepherd, which entered the Guinness Book of Records. Registered 2 local products with geographical indication “Wine of the Frumushyka Valley” and “Frumushyka Lamb”. The Semisotka Museum is under construction on the site of the old Smart Village Farm.
Mykola Cherep
Chairman of the Board of the NGO “Petrushivka Branch of the Union of NWT of Ukraine,” public figure, member of the Ukrainian Heraldic Society and the Union of Local History of Ukraine, founder and owner of the agritourism complex “Sokolynii Khutir” (Petrushivka, Chernihiv region), photographer (24 personal photo exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad). He has 28 years of practical experience in historical and ethnographic, monument protection and tourism work. He has been a member of the Union of NWT of Ukraine since 2003.
Olena Shcherban
Doctor of Historical Sciences, Ukrainian ethnologist, owner of the Ethno-Educational Center – Ethno-Manor-Museum “Lialyna Svitlytsia” in Opishnia, Poltava region (founded in December 2010). She is the author and organizer of the unique Ethno-Gastro-Festival “Borshchyk in a Clay Pot 2014-2023”, which is known in Ukraine and some European countries.
