Workshop “Rural green tourism in solving the problems of self-employment”

On May 29, 2019, a practical seminar on the topic “Rural green tourism in solving the problems of self-employment of the population” was held.

The organizer of the seminar is the Scientific and Methodological Center “Agro-Education”, with the support of the NGO “Association for the Promotion of the Development of Rural Green Tourism in Ukraine”.

The seminar discussed the development of rural green tourism, its benefits for owners, vacationers, rural communities, regions, its impact on the development of social infrastructure, other industries and development prospects in different regions of the country. The practical seminar ended with a training part, where the participants, by working in groups, had the opportunity to model and determine the practical steps of rural tourism development at the level of an agro-village or district/territory.

The seminar was attended by representatives of scientific institutions, educational institutions, the public, authorities and owners of guest houses. The event was useful for people who want to start activities in the field of NWT, those who already provide such services, for teachers who train specialists in the field of tourism and entrepreneurship and other interested persons.

The combination of theoretical base, analysis of foreign experience, modern realities and training practice contributed to lively discussions and discussions.
